DSP JOB DESCRIPTION
Full-Time & Part-Time
$17 Per Hour

  • Direct Support Professionals are essential to providing the necessary supports and services to our individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) where they live. DSPs help with everyday tasks and depending on the individual’s needs responsibilities will vary.

  • Include, but not limited to:

    *Teaching life skills to Individuals supported

    *Maintaining a safe living environment that adheres to state codes and regulations

    *Assist individuals with money management, housekeeping, personal hygiene and other routine needs; also known as Activities of the Daily Living

    *Provide transportation to social outings, doctor’s appointments and other activities within the community

    *Maintain regular paperwork and documentation for individuals supported.

    *Participate in developing plans to meet the needs of the individual, and carry out plans as necessary.

    *Help maintain the quality of the home environment by taking imitative in cleaning, and make sure any need for home repairs is reported to management.

  • No previous experience is necessary; on-site training is provided.

    Need to have a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance, and HS Diploma/GED/Hi-Set
